Sponsoring Body

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi is a prestigious State Government University, established in the year 1975 through the Bundelkhand University Act by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university is sponsored and fully supported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and functions under the administrative and financial supervision of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh serves as the Chancellor of the University and provides constitutional oversight to ensure the institution’s smooth functioning in accordance with the state’s educational vision and regulatory framework.
