International Students

The University offers courses in basic and professional streams which are universal in nature and open to students outside India as well. The University has framed the course syllabus according to the global relevance. Courses are focused on employability, regional and national demands. Moreover, university plans to sign MoUs with foreign universities for student exchange, twinning programmes and research etc. The University invites experts from international university for delivering lectures and also faculty of the University has visited the foreign university for the same.

As per the norms, 15% of the total seats in all courses are reserved for NRI and Sponsored candidates provided they have minimum required percentages in qualifying examinations. The foreign students are exempted from entrance examination. A considerable number of students from African countries have been studying in Tourism and Hotel Management, Environmental Studies and Life Sciences.

The Academic Section of the University deals with the International students and the office of the Dean of Student Welfare and the academic section jointly looks after any special needs of the foreign or NRI students.
